My DJ client Pat Premier was in desperate need of a website redesign. While I may not necessarily categorize myself as a web designer, I understand that a true designer can incorporate the principles of design across many different platforms. I began by researching the top 20 DJs in the world, visiting each of their websites and taking notes on which elements that all the sites tended to have in common, like album artwork, links to spotify accounts and information about upcoming shows. I also took note of which DJs had some unique site elements that made their websites stand out and whether that might be worth incorporating into Pat Premier’s website.
