Branding & Web Design
Johns Hopkins SAIS Rethinking Iran is an academic initiative dedicated to exploring the transformative realms of technology and their profound implications on global affairs. The project was to redesign the initiative’s logo. The primary goal was to create a visually compelling and innovative logo that effectively communicated the initiative's focus on the intersection of technology and global affairs, fostering a dynamic and forward-thinking brand identity. The challenge lay in developing a visually distinctive logo that effectively conveyed the abstract concept of technology, avoiding overused or stereotypical representations while creating a memorable and impactful visual symbol. To address this, the final logo design creatively integrated a stylized globe within a dynamic network of interconnected lines, symbolizing the interconnectedness of technology and its global reach, resulting in a visually striking and conceptually rich representation of the initiative's core focus.

The second project was to redesign the initiative’s website. The primary goal was to create a modern and engaging online platform that effectively communicated the initiative's programs, and events to a broader audience, fostering increased interest and participation. The challenge lay in developing a user-friendly and visually appealing website that effectively showcased the diverse offerings of the Emerging Technologies initiative. The resulting website incorporated dynamic animations and interactive elements, providing engaging hooks into specific courses and programs within the SAIS curriculum, creating a more immersive and informative online experience for visitors.
